Accessing the Text Art Archive online
You can search the holdings of the archive on Bury Archives online database, if you wish to see the artworks in the collection type in the key word artwork similarly the the queer language art section type in queer etc.

Identification required for access in person and booking arrangements
If you are an academic researcher you will be required to fill out a Research Proposal Form prior to your visit. Please contact Bury Art Museum on artgallery@bury.gov.uk and we will email you a copy.
Advance notice is required to view the artworks in the Text Art Archive. Access to the artworks is given by the curators of Bury Art Museum and so advance notice is needed. Please contact us 3 weeks prior to your visit on s.lord@bury.gov.uk
The archive element of the Text Art Archive is available to the public on the following days and times:

7. Access Restrictions
Conservation and Handling
Information will be provided to customers on how to correctly handle archives and rare items. In most instance Bury Art Museum Curators will give access to the Art collection and Bury Archive service will give access to the archives support material.
Some collections may not be able to be viewed because they are too fragile or require conservation.
